Don’t let a prison sentence be the only thing you ever Start and Complete.

Sometimes we are so conditioned to failure that we aren’t able to see the greatness within. I often say to our students and to Returning Citizens during their intake assessment is:

“You have been called to do something GREAT”

My message is constant and it’s one that embraces truth, and I tell our clients that they were designed to do something GREAT in this world and the the only reason they went to prison or the only reason they are troubled is that there is a calling on their life that’s so great, the devil had to stop it.

You can feel the brilliance and creativity behind some of those prison walls.

1. Instead of being in prison, you are supposed to be a millionaire today;
2. You should be operating your own fortune 500 company right now;
3. You should be changing the world with your thoughts and ideas.

But, somewhere down the line, the devil took a hard look into your future and he put something in your path to prevent you from accessing your greatness. For some people that “something” is: guns, drugs, gangs, sex, anger, money….whatever it was that got you into trouble, the devil used it to stop YOU from reaching your destiny.

Change your perception of yourself. Don’t let your mistakes define your overall character. Don’t ever give up on your dreams and ideas. God placed those thoughts on your heart for a reason. Don’t ignore it; utilize the tools and resources that are available to get you where you want to be. Don’t let a prison sentence be the only thing you ever start and complete. Pick up your failed relationships and failed opportunities and rewrite the path to your destiny.
